ACCEPTING CHRIST

SALVATION IS GOD'S GIFT TO YOU

Ephesians 2:8

For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE SAVED?

When we say that we are 'saved,' what do we mean? In short, we are saying that we have accepted Jesus into our hearts. The Bible says “if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9). By trusting Jesus as your Savior, you will be forgiven of your sins and born into the family of God. We would love to welcome you into the family and help you grow in your relationship with God. If you’re ready to accept Jesus, watch this video and message from Pastor Eric.

WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW THAT I’VE DECIDED TO FOLLOW JESUS?

You’ve just made the most important commitment a person can make in life. If you have placed your faith in Jesus, and decided to follow him, you have experienced what the Bible calls a “new birth.” And just like you have a physical birthday, you have a spiritual birthday - the day you became a Christian and began your walk with God.

One of your questions may be, “What do I do now?”

Now that you are a Christian, your life is different. You may not feel like a Christian every day, but following Jesus is not based on feelings. It’s based on the fact that Jesus died on the cross for your sins and that you have a relationship with him.

12 STEP SPIRITUAL GROWTH PLAN

WHAT IS PRAYER?

TALKING TO GOD

Prayer is spiritual communication between man and God, a two-way relationship in which man should not only talk to God but also listen to Him. Prayer to God is like a child’s conversation with his father. It is natural for a child to ask his father for the things he needs.
